What is a legitimate, lucrative at home business?
I’m looking to start my own home based business, but don’t want to be part of a pyramid scheme. I’m a mom to be and the extra income would be very helpful to my family. Not to mention, if the business does well enough, I could quit my full-time job and be a stay at home mom and save on day care!

My home business is taking over my house, when to get a store front?
I need some suggestions here. I have a vinyl graphics business and we are getting so busy that projects are taking over my house. I’d like to move into a shop, but I’m a little scared. I have 2 kids (2&3 years old) that will need a playroom there too.
Any suggestions with moving from a home business to working out of a shop? Expecially with kids.

Is purchasing an unattached building for home business a business expense?
I will be purchasing an unattached workshop strictly for my business and don’t know if it’s deductable as a business expense. If so what type? I know home improvements can be deductable if business related but don’t know if a whole structure is.

Opening home business, What do I need to know?
My husband and I have been planning to open a home based business for just over a year. Our plans are to open it by the end of 2008. My main concerns are taxes. We can not foresee our profits, but we are expecting under $50,000 for the first year. It will just be my husband and I (no employees). What taxes will we have to pay?
We will have a separate building on our property which the business will be primarily run out of, can we use this for any deductions? I’ve read in several places that to start a home business in the sims 2 you have to either click on a phone or computer and choose the business option. The problem is…there is no business tab when i click on either of these items. There’s a “real estate” tab, but not business….
